Sunshine in Hong Kong

This blog message was composed at Pacific Coffee that I waited for my friend.

You may feel strange why Busy Bird writes in English. The reason is that the computer at cafe has not got Chinese input function, so I just can compose my message in English. (For those friends who only know English, it may a good new, ha ha! Don't compliant! I write somethings in English for all of you.)

It's really happy to see the sunshine again in Hong Kong. A week long rainny days has affected me a lot. Yes, I am such a girl who is so emotional. Actually, I don't like hot weather, but it is better to be getting wet outside.

July 1, an important day of Hong Kong, but it has not much celebration this year. Maybe we have spent too much last year to celebrate the 10th anniversity. And, this year, just like normal public holidays.

I just heard a kid asked his mom why today need not to be back school. And, the mom replied... today is public holiday. Well, Hong Kong people seem to forget the important of July 1, the day which our land handover to another country. Maybe, it is the special character of Hong Kong people, most of us not really concern our social and political environment.

Sunshine is outside. But deep in my mind, it is still rainning.
